The OPPO Reno6 series is finally here! OPPO Malaysia today has officially launched the Reno6 series — the Reno6 Z 5G and Reno6 5G. Both devices come with AI features for photo and video taking such as Portrait Beautification Video, Focus Tracking, Bokeh Flare Portrait, and Dual-view Video.
Reno6 Z 5G
The Reno6 Z 5G is the more affordable version in the OPPO Reno6 series and we have already reviewed the phone. The phone looks pretty much like the Reno5, but with some minor differences. It still has the signature Reno Glow finish in two color options — Aurora and Stellar Black.
The Reno6 Z sports a 6.4-inch Full HD+ 60Hz AMOLED display and is powered by a MediaTek Dimensity 800U processor with 8GB RAM and 128GB storage.
In terms of camera, the phone packs a triple-camera setup — 64MP main + 8MP ultra-wide + 2MP macro. It has a 32MP front-facing camera for taking selfies. The Reno6 Z packs a 4,310mAh battery with 30W VOOC Flash Charge 4.0. The phone runs on ColorOS 11 based on Android 11.
Reno6 5G
The Reno6 5G is the more higher-end variant compared to the Reno6 Z. Unlike the Reno6 Z, it has flat sides, just like the iPhone 12 lineup. The phone sports the same 6.43-inch Full HD+ AMOLED display with a 90Hz refresh rate. Powering the phone is a MediaTek Dimensity 900 processor with 8GB RAM and 128GB storage.
In terms of camera, it’s the same — 64MP main + 8MP ultra-wide + 2MP macro. It also has a 32MP front-facing camera for taking selfies. The Reno6 packs a 4,300mAh battery and it supports 65W SuperVOOC 2.0 that safely charges your phone to 100% in only 28 minutes. The phone also runs on ColorOS 11 based on Android 11.
