OPPO Reno5 Series Officially Launched in Malaysia

The OPPO Reno5 series has finally made its official debut in Malaysia, which is now available for pre-order until 26th January 2021.

The OPPO Reno5 series is available in two colors: Starry Black and Galactic Silver. The Galactic Silver variant combines Reno Glow glass and Picasus nanofilm on the Diamond Spectrum body, which will reflect different colors from different angles.

The Reno5 sports a 6.4-inch Full HD+ 90Hz AMOLED flat display, while the Reno5 Pro has a 6.5-inch Full HD+ 90Hz AMOLED curved display. In terms of processing power, the Reno5 is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 765G processor with 8GB RAM and 128GB storage, while the Pro variant has a MediaTek Dimensity 1000+ processor with 12GB RAM and 256GB storage.

The OPPO Reno5 series packs a quad-camera setup on the back — 64MP f/1.7 main + 8MP ultra-wide + 2MP macro + 2MP mono sensor. Selfie wise, both phones have a 32MP front-facing camera. Both phones come with features like Dual-view Video, Portrait Beautification Video, and Ultra Steady Video.

The Reno5 and Reno5 Pro pack a 4,300mAh battery and 4,350mAh battery respectively. Both phones support 65W SuperVOOC 2.0, which will charge up to 100% in just 35 minutes. Both phones will run on ColorOS 11 based on Android 11 out of the box.

The OPPO Reno5 series is now available for pre-order until 26th January 2021, retailing at RM1,899 (Reno5) and RM2,599 (Reno5 Pro). Customers who pre-order the phone will get free gifts such as the Enco W11, phone case, and OPPO Care 1-year extended warranty.
