OPPO Find X Goes Official, Comes with Pop-Up Cameras

As expected, the OPPO Find X today has made its official debut in Paris, France! Unlike most flagship phones in 2018, the Find X doesn’t come with a notch.

The Find X sports a 6.4-inch Full HD+ dual-curved OLED display, which looks quite like the Galaxy S9+. The company claims that it has a screen to body ratio of 93.8%. So, where is the front camera then for such high screen to body ratio? The phone’s entire camera system will only pop-up when you need it. Once you opened the camera app, the top portion of the phone will motorize up and show the 25MP front camera, as well as the 16MP + 20MP dual-rear camera. OPPO says the camera can open in 0.5 seconds and the whole assembly will motor back into the phone’s chassis when you close the camera app.

The Find X packs a Qualcomm Snapdragon 845 processor with 8GB RAM and up to 256GB storage. Unfortunately, the phone doesn’t come with a fingerprint sensor, which means you have to rely on the 3D facial scanner in that pop-up camera assembly.

Last but not least, the Find X comes with a 3,730mAh battery with VOOC Flash Charging supported. The device runs on ColorOS 5.1 based on Android 8.1 Oreo.

The OPPO Find X will be available globally, however, no information on its pricing and launching date at the moment. Hopefully, the company will launch the phone in Malaysia as soon as possible.

OPPO has also announced the Find X Automobili Lamborghini Edition, which comes with a carbon fiber back and Lambo badge. The phone also supports Super VOOC charging, which charges its 3,400mAh battery from 0-100% in 35 minutes. Lastly, the special edition does come with a massive 512GB internal storage.
