OnePlus Nord CE 5G Launched in Malaysia

The OnePlus Nord CE 5G is the latest addition to OnePlus’s Nord lineup, the ‘CE’ in the name stands for “Core Edition”. The device was built upon Nord’s ethos, which is to deliver powerful essential features at an affordable price.

Now, let us talk about features, the Nord CE 5G features Warp Charge 30T Plus, which is OnePlus’s fast charging technology. It enables the Nord CE 5G to charge up its 4,500 mAh battery to 70% in just half an hour. Besides that, the device is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 750G 5G chipset, which gives the device a 20% CPU and 10% GPU boosts over its predecessor.

The OnePlus Nord CE 5G will have OxygenOS 11 pre-installed from the factory. OxygenOS 11 also had major quality-of-life improvements such as Dark Mode, Zen Mode, and a new always-on display (AOD) featured on the software itself.

As for the camera, the Nord CE 5G is equipped with a powerful triple rear cam setup with a 64MP lens as the main camera, a large f/1.79 aperture lens, and a 119° ultrawide angle lens. The front cam setup also comprises a 16MP selfie cam and an 8MP ultrawide came with a 119° field of view. The device also features ‘Nightscape Mode’, which aids the user in low-light photography.

The Nord CE 5G display is a 90Hz fluid AMOLED display, which gives the phone an incredibly smooth and responsive experience, which is further enhanced with HDR10+ which offers vivid colors to ensure an immersive and enjoyable viewing experience.

With all these features, the Nord CE 5G has a form factor of 7.9mm in thickness and 170g in weight, making the phone feel slim and light in the hand. The Nord CE 5G is available in 2 colors — Blue Void and Charcoal Ink, which has a fingerprint-resistant matte finish. The Nord CE 5G will also receive two years of software updates and three years of security updates to keep the phone smooth over time.
