OnePlus Nord 2T 5G and OnePlus Nord CE 2 Lite 5G Officially Launched in Malaysia

It’s been a while since we last heard about OnePlus, not since the launch of the OnePlus 10 Pro. The company had recently announced two new additions to the affordable OnePlus Nord series — OnePlus Nord 2T 5G and OnePlus Nord CE 2 Lite 5G. The launch of both smartphones also marks OnePlus’ first-ever official launch in Malaysia, reiterating the brand’s commitment to Malaysian customers and OnePlus enthusiasts.

OnePlus Nord 2T 5G

The OnePlus Nord 2T 5G comes with the same 80W SUPERVOOC fast charging as the flagship OnePlus 10 Pro, which powers the 4,500mAh battery from 1% to 100% in just 27 minutes.

The phone sports a 6.43-inch Full HD+ AMOLED 90Hz display that is also HDR10+ certified. Powering the phone is a MediaTek Dimensity 1300 processor with up to 12GB LPDDR4X RAM and 256GB UFS 3.1 storage.

In terms of camera, it packs a triple-camera setup — 50MP Sony IMX766 with OIS + 8MP 120° ultra-wide + 2MP mono lens. The 50MP Sony IMX766 main camera comes with large 1/1.56-inch sensor size. The phone also has a 32MP front-facing camera for taking selfies.

The OnePlus Nord 2T 5G runs on OxygenOS 12.1 based on Android 12. OnePlus promises that the phone will receive 2 major Android updates and 3 years of security updates to ensure the smoothest and most secure experience.

OnePlus Nord CE 2 Lite 5G

The OnePlus Nord CE 2 Lite 5G is the company’s most accessible 5G-ready smartphone ever. It sports a 6.59-inch Full HD+ LCD display with a 120Hz refresh rate. The phone uses an AI dynamic refresh rate management system that adjusts its refresh rate depending on the type of content being consumed to improve power consumption further.

Powering the phone is a Qualcomm Snapdragon 695 processor with up to 8GB LPDDR4X RAM and 128GB UFS 2.2 storage. Like the 2T, it also runs on OxygenOS 12.1 based on Android 12 with the promise of 2 major Android updates and 3 years of security updates.

The phone comes with a triple-camera setup — 64MP main + 2MP depth + 2MP macro. It also comes with a 16MP front-facing camera for taking selfies. The phone also features Dual-View Video that allows you to record with both its front and rear cameras at the same time, opening a range of new creative possibilities while filming.

OnePlus Buds Pro and OnePlus Nord Buds

Additionally, OnePlus has also launched two new earbuds at two different price points — the OnePlus Buds Pro and the OnePlus Nord Buds.

The OnePlus Buds Pro is the brand’s first smart adaptive noise cancellation (ANC) earbuds. The new, premium, true wireless earbuds feature an industry-leading smart noise reduction system, superior call quality, extended battery performance, and a more personalized sound to create a truly immersive and premium audio experience.

The OnePlus Nord Buds, on the other hand, expands the Nord product portfolio and philosophy to hearables, offering excellent audio technology at a competitive and accessible price point. Building on community-favorite features, the Nord Buds boasts 12.4 mm titanium dynamic drivers, supports Dolby Atmos, and offers 30 hours of combined playback on a single charge.

The OnePlus Nord 2T 5G, OnePlus Nord CE 2 Lite 5G, OnePlus Buds Pro, and OnePlus Nord Buds will be available for purchase from 19th July 2022 at OnePlus retail stores, OnePlus authorized dealers, and the OnePlus official website, as well as OnePlus flagship stores on Shopee and Lazada.
