MSI Unveils Multiple Flagship Laptops at CES 2020

MSI has won 10 innovation awards at CES 2020, which has established its pioneering status in both the gaming and content creation fields.

GE66 Raider & GS66 Stealth

The company has unveiled its update on the Raider model with the GE66 Raider. There are two different editions released in conjunction with the launch of this new laptop. The Aurora Edition of the GE66 Raider pays homage to the technology of tomorrow without the compromise of appearance, speed, and performance. In MSI fashion, the laptop chassis is made with aluminum with a shade of titanium silver and a light bar at the front end of the palm rest. They call the palm rest – ‘Mystic Light Bar’ because of its compelling, auroral lighting that has 16.7 million colors that creates an ambiance. Compared to the previous version, the GE66 is much lighter but has not to skimp out on its performance. It is paired with and optional, 300Hz gaming display to deliver the best gaming experience, the laptop is powered by a 99.9Wh battery.

There is also another edition called the “Dragonshield Limited Edition”. It is a design collab between MSI and famed digital artist Colie Wertz, who was known for his concept art and 3D modeling work for Hollywood blockbusters such as the Star Wars prequels, Transformers and Iron Man. The artist the laptop being the heart of the spaceship therefore it has spaceship inspired motives and designs. The laptop chassis has etched metal panels that resemble a section of a spaceship. All being said, this model surely does look like its part of a sci-fi movie.
Besides updates to the GE66 Raider, the Stealth variant also has a fair share of attention.

The GS66 Stealth is the latest addition of their slim-n-light gaming lineup. It has a pure black, mystical aesthetic with premium textures in a more subtle way. The laptop is also equipped with 99.9Wh battery to power this thirsty machine and a triple-fan cooling design, dubbed the Cooler Boost Trinity+ to keep the machine cool. This machine is targeted to those who do professional work by day, but games by night.

Creator 17

The Creator 17 is currently under CES’s radar and is the honoree of the “Digital Imaging or Photography” innovation award for CES. “The Creator 17 was given this honor for its pinnacle of excellence for content creation, enabling creators to take the power of a fully-loaded professional studio on the go” acclaimed by CES.

The Creator 17 sparks interest in the crowd at CES with its next-gen screen technology. It is the world’s very first laptop to come with new revolutionary technology, the Mini LED display. Besides that, it is the first laptop to reach HDR 1000 standards with its 17-inch 4k display which is also capable of 1,000 nits of brightness that provides the most vibrant visuals and detailed imagery. The Creator 17 also supports a wide color gamut of 100% DCI-P3 which is almost as accurate as of the color we see with our human eyes.

Prestige 14

There is also a new pink version of the Prestige 14 after following the pure white and carbon gray versions. The laptop still uses the same slim chassis, premium texture, high-end performance, and the True Pixel precise color accuracy. The Prestige 14 Pink is classy and distinctive, with rose pink color and its subtle diamond-cut edges that want to show the gentle mind and giving a sense of tranquility.
