MSI Creator 17 Officially Available in Malaysia

Introducing the MSI Creator 17, the first laptop with Mini LED display is here! MSI brought the Creator 17 into the Malaysian market to boost Malaysian content creation to the next level with its HDR content creation abilities.

The Creator 17 features a revolutionary mini display that can display at 1,000 nits of brightness and 240 zones of local dimming control. Besides that, the display is more color accurate with wide color gamut support up to 100% DCI-P3 and has no screen burn-in like some OLED displays. The Creator 17 is so far the only laptop panel which can reach the high dynamic range (HDR) 1,000 standard and achieve white luminance of 1,000 nits. It is at least twice as bright as a LED or OLED screen.

Continuing the topic of displays, the main display of the Creator 17 is a 4k display for the better and realistic viewing experience, it is has a wide color gamut of 100% DCI-P3 which is nearly real color accuracy.

The Creator 17 will be offered in two variants in Malaysia. Aside from the storage and memory differences, the main changes between the two variants will be the graphics choices of NVIDIA’s GeForce RTX 2060 and RTX 2070 Super Max-Q. The NVIDIA GeForce RTX 2060 variant is recommended for the casual HDR content consumption and creation crowd. On the other hand, the GeForce RTX 2070 Super Max-Q is recommended for the HDR content creators to unlock the on-the-go performance potential of their HDR content creation workflow. Both variants of the Creator 17 are already available for purchase in Malaysia at MSI MYStore and other MSI Partner Stores starting from RM11,499.
