Microsoft Surface Laptop Studio Introduced in Malaysia

Announced last year, Microsoft Malaysia is now accepting pre-orders for the Surface Laptop Studio. The device will be available from 8 March.

The Surface Laptop Studio will be priced at RM7,399 according to Microsoft and it is the company’s most powerful Surface ever. The device features a unique hinge called the Dynamic Woven Hinge, allowing it to transform into three different modes, which are the laptop mode, stage mode, and studio mode.

Laptop mode is just like using the device as a conventional laptop whereas, in stage mode, the display is pulled forward making a tent mode for a perfect angle for gaming, streaming, docking, or presenting to clients, however, usage of the device will be limited by touch or by using the Surface Pen. Lastly, the studio mode is using the device as a tablet, portable and easy enough to carry around for writing, sketching, or any other creative work.

The device also features the latest Surface Slim Pen 2 which could be stored neatly under the keyboard magnetically for ease of use. Besides that, the device comes with a 120Hz display, quad Omnisonic speakers, and Dolby Atmos optimization. The device also comes paired with an NVIDIA GeForce 3050 Ti laptop GPU.
