Microsoft has just released the Lumia 550 and it’s currently the most affordable 4G LTE smartphone on the market. The Lumia 550 is available to enterprise users under the Digi SmartPlan for business for free with a monthly commitment of RM 98 for 24 months. As for consumers, it is available at RM 559 (inclusive of GST) at all Microsoft Authorized Reseller stores.
The Microsoft Lumia 550 runs on Windows 10 with built-in Microsoft Office Apps which are designed to fit into the screen size to maximize productivity as manage documents on the go. It has a 4.7-inch HD display with 315 ppi pixel density. It uses a quad-core 1.1 GHz Cortex-A7 CPU which serves most basic smartphone functions. As for memory, it has an internal 8 GB that is expandable via external MicroSD card slot up to 200 GB. The Lumia 550 also comes with a 5 MP rear facing camera with auto-focus function and a 2 MP front facing camera.
It has a dimension of 136.1 x 67.8 x 9.9 mm and a weight of 141.9 g. The phone is powered by a 2,100 mAh battery with up to 672 hrs standby and up to 16 hrs (2G), 14 hrs (3G) talk time. The colors available on this model are Black and White.
