Besides announcing the Lumia 550, 950 and 950 XL, Microsoft has also announced two new Surface devices – Surface Book and Surface Pro 4.
Surface Book
The Surface Book is a thin laptop with incredible specs inside the body. It has a 13.5-inch PixelSense 3:2 aspect ratio display with the resolution of 3,000 x 2,000 pixels, that’s 267 ppi pixel density.
The Surface Book is powered by 6th generation Intel Core i5/i7 processor with 8/16 GB RAM. There are two choices for the graphics processor – Intel HD Graphics 520 or NVIDIA GeForce Graphics Processor.
The Surface Book is a 2-in-1 detachable laptop, it has an 8 MP rear and 5 MP front cameras if you are planning to use it as a tablet. Microsoft claims that the Surface Book has up to 12 hours of battery life with continuous video playback.
The Microsoft Surface Book is running on Windows 10 Pro and it comes with Surface Pen in the box.
Surface Pro 4
The Surface Pro 4 is the successor of the Surface Pro 3. It has a 12.3-inch PixelTouch display with the resolution of 2,736 x 1,824 pixels (267 ppi). The device is powered by 6th generation Intel Core M3, i5 or i7 processor depending on which configuration you go for.
There’s also an 8 MP camera at the back and 5 MP camera at the front. Its battery life is said to be able to last up to 9 hours of video playback.
The Microsoft Surface Pro 4 is running on Windows 10 Pro as well and it comes with Surface Pen in the box too.
