LG UltraGear 17G90Q Gaming Laptop Officially Announced

LG has just announced its first-ever gaming laptop — the LG UltraGear 17G90Q. The laptop features an 11th Gen Intel Tiger Lake H processor paired with an NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3080 Max-Q graphics card, dual-channel memory, and an ultra-fast dual SSD setup.

The LG UltraGear 17G90Q has a 17-inch IPS panel with a 1ms response time and a 300Hz refresh rate, providing an immersive and fluid gameplay experience. Besides that, the laptop has a cooling system with a vapor chamber that keeps the temperatures low when pushed to the limit.

As for the exterior design of the laptop, it shares DNA from LG’s lightweight Gram laptops. The laptop has a streamlined and highly portable design. Its slim body allows it to maintain a thickness of under 21.4mm with a weight of less than 2.7kg. The body of the laptop is made from aluminum, which makes it durable and gives a premium touch.

The laptop also comes with LG’s gaming software, LG UltraGear Studio which allows users to customize gaming-related options and to track a variety of performance data. In addition to that, the laptop also has a built-in 2 Way speaker system, which supports DTS:X Ultra, which could accurately convey the directionality and location of sounds in the gaming environments.

As for availability, the 17G90Q with initially be available in the United States and South Korea in the first quarter of 2022 with other markets to follow.
