LG PuriCare Wearable Air Purifier Now Available For Pre-Order

The COVID-19 pandemic has changed our daily lives, and face masks have become necessary for everyone’s health and hygiene. With that in mind, LG Electronics has announced the pre-order for its revolutionary wearable personal air solution — LG PuriCare Wearable Air Purifier.

Basically, this is the second generation model, specifically the AP551AWFA. The mask comes with a fully automatic fan airflow control system that increases breathing comfort. There are also two HEPA H13 filters, which is proven to remove harmful particles such as dust, virus, bacteria, and allergen up to 99.95%.

Weighing at 94g, the LG PuriCare Wearable Air Purifier comes with the VoiceON feature, which is a built-in microphone and speaker that automatically recognizes when you are speaking and amplifies your voice out.

The mask also is also fitted with a respiratory sensor that senses the user’s breathing and Dual Fans with an ultra-small and lightweight motor that automatically adjust to the breathing cycle. This will actually prevent a common problem for those wearing glasses, keeping their lenses from fogging up when exhaling. It also comes with an elastic and adjustable ear strap as well as an extender for a more comfortable fit.

The LG PuriCare Wearable Air Purifier packs a 1,000mAh battery that offers up to 8 hours of battery life. LG will also be releasing a companion app that will connect to the product via Bluetooth, allowing users to track their breathing and intuitively manage the device from a smartphone.
