Lenovo IdeaPad Slim 5 Pro Now Available in Malaysia

Lenovo Malaysia had announced that the Lenovo IdeaPad Slim 5 Pro is now available in Malaysia, and there would not only be one but two variants of the Slim 5 Pro, both the 14-inch and 16-inch.

The Lenovo IdeaPad Slim 5 Pro is powered by an AMD Ryzen 7 5000 series mobile CPU, paired with the NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1650 GPU. These specs make the Slim Pro 5 powerful enough for everyday use and even able to handle processor or graphics-intensive tasks, making it the perfect companion for students that are in fields that require a device that have higher rendering speeds and graphic processing capabilities.

The laptop is constructed upon a full aluminum chassis, which is painted in either Storm Grey or Cloud Grey. Besides that, the laptop is also quite portable, as it only weighs in at 1.9kg and has a thickness of 18.4mm.

The display of the Slim 5 Pro is a 16:10 ratio widescreen, which will provide users with more screen space for productivity, this was made possible by the narrow bezels all around the screen. The display panel itself also has 100% sRGB IPS Gamut and is capable of 120Hz. Additionally, there is also an anti-blue light technology as the IdeaPad Slim Pro 5 is a TÜV Rheinland-certified laptop.

The Lenovo IdeaPad Slim 5 Pro also offers users an immersive sound experience as the device is engineered with Dolby Atmos Dual Speakers, which creates a multi-dimensional, true-to-life sound experience. Lastly, there are also quality-of-life smart features that have been added to the device like “Flip-to-Boot”, whereby it’s a smart login system that recognizes users’ facial features and characteristics and logs them in accordingly. Furthermore, “Intelligent Cooling” is also one of the features that offers system performance balance and additional battery-saving which users can activate via a keyboard shortcut.

Both the 14-inch and the 16-inch are priced starting from RM3,429 and RM3,599 respectively on the Lenovo Malaysia Official Online Store with an option for a 12-month installment. Alternatively, there the 16-inch version is also available at both Shopee and Lazada via Lenovo Exclusive Stores with a retail price starting from RM4,899.
