Jetour has officially introduced the Jetour T2 in Malaysia, bringing a rugged yet modern SUV option to the local market. Designed with adventure and practicality in mind, the Jetour T2 combines a bold off-road-inspired design with a strong list of features, performance capabilities, and modern in-car technology.
Under the hood, the Jetour T2 is powered by a 2.0-litre TGDi engine that delivers 180kW (245PS) of power and 375Nm of torque. The engine is paired with a 7-speed dual-clutch transmission (DCT), allowing for smoother power delivery and efficient gear changes. To further enhance its capability across various terrains, the SUV comes equipped with Jetour’s Intelligent XWD system. This system supports 7+X drive modes and continuously adjusts torque distribution based on terrain and driving conditions, allowing the vehicle to adapt to different surfaces such as highways, gravel roads, or more challenging off-road environments. The car rides on 255/60 R19 alloy wheels, reinforcing its commanding stance and off-road readiness.
From a design perspective, the Jetour T2 stands out with its muscular proportions and upright silhouette, giving it a strong and commanding road presence. The front end features auto LED headlamps paired with an illuminated “JETOUR” wordlight signature that creates a distinctive visual identity, especially at night. At the rear, the SUV is equipped with distinctive light ray LED taillamps and a rear-mounted spare tyre that further reinforces its rugged character. Practicality is also considered with the inclusion of an electric suction back door, providing easier access to the cargo area. Customers can choose from three exterior colour options: Khaki White, Aviation Silver, and Carbon Black.
Inside the cabin, the Jetour T2 focuses on delivering a modern and comfortable driving experience. The dashboard is dominated by a large 15.6-inch multimedia display that serves as the central hub for infotainment and vehicle controls. The system supports wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, allowing drivers to seamlessly connect their smartphones for navigation, music streaming, and messaging. Voice control is also integrated through the “Hello Jetour” command system, enabling hands-free control of certain vehicle functions.
For added convenience, the Jetour T2 comes equipped with a 50W wireless charging pad, ensuring compatible smartphones can be quickly powered up without the need for cables. Entertainment is handled by a premium 12-speaker sound system from Sony, delivering an immersive audio experience throughout the cabin.
Comfort has also been given considerable attention. The SUV features leatherette seats, with the front seats offering memory functions and a welcome feature that automatically adjusts when the driver enters the vehicle. In addition, the front seats are ventilated, making them especially suitable for Malaysia’s tropical climate. The cabin is further enhanced with multi-colour ambient lighting that adds a premium atmosphere, while the panoramic sunroof helps create a more open and spacious feel for passengers.
Safety is another key highlight of the Jetour T2. The SUV carries a 5-Star safety rating from ASEAN NCAP, providing reassurance for drivers and families alike. It is equipped with six SRS airbags as well as a comprehensive Level 2 Advanced Driving Assistance System (ADAS). These driver-assistance technologies are designed to enhance safety and reduce driver fatigue during long journeys.
Additional safety features include a Panoramic View Monitoring System that provides a 360-degree view around the vehicle, helping drivers navigate tight spaces more easily. The system also includes a transparent chassis view, allowing the driver to see beneath the vehicle to better avoid obstacles when driving off-road or parking. A Tyre Pressure Monitoring System (TPMS) is also included to ensure the tyres remain at optimal pressure for both safety and performance.

The Jetour T2 is priced at RM156,800 in Malaysia. The SUV comes with a 7-year or 150,000km vehicle warranty, along with an impressive 10-year or 1,000,000km powertrain warranty, offering long-term peace of mind for owners.
As part of the launch promotion, the first 3,000 registered customers will also receive a RM2,000 cash rebate, making the deal even more attractive for early buyers looking to get behind the wheel of Jetour’s latest SUV offering.
