Intel has officially announced the availability of laptops powered by its latest Intel Core Ultra Series 3 processors in Malaysia, marking the next phase of AI-powered computing for both consumers and businesses.
First unveiled at CES 2026, the new processor family represents a major step forward in Intel’s client computing roadmap, combining high-performance processing, advanced graphics, and dedicated AI acceleration in a single platform.
Intel Core Ultra Series 3

At the core of the Intel Core Ultra Series 3 platform is a redesigned architecture built on Intel’s latest 18A process, enabling significant improvements in performance and energy efficiency.
These processors integrate three key components:
- CPU for traditional computing tasks
- GPU for graphics and visual workloads
- Neural Processing Unit (NPU) dedicated to accelerating on-device AI
This combination allows modern laptops to handle AI-driven tasks locally, unlocking new use cases such as intelligent productivity tools, enhanced content creation workflows, and real-time AI collaboration features without relying heavily on cloud processing.
Intel claims the new chips deliver:
- Outstanding efficiency, enabling some of the best battery life seen on Intel-powered AI PCs
- Up to 50 TOPS of AI performance via the integrated NPU
- Next-gen Xe3 graphics, offering improved gaming and visual capabilities
Malaysian consumers can now find Intel Core Ultra Series 3-powered laptops from leading global PC manufacturers, including:
- ASUS
- Acer
- Dell Technologies
- HP Inc.
- Lenovo
- MSI
More than 200 laptop designs globally are expected to feature the new processors, spanning ultra-portable productivity devices, premium consumer laptops, commercial systems, as well as high-performance creator and gaming machines.
Intel Core Series 3
Alongside its premium lineup, Intel is also introducing the Intel Core Series 3 processors, aimed at making AI-capable computing more accessible to a wider audience.
Built on the same 18A process foundation, these chips target students, families, and small businesses, offering a balance of performance, efficiency, and affordability.
Compared to a typical five-year-old PC, Intel claims the Core Series 3 platform delivers:
- Up to 47% better single-thread performance
- Up to 41% better multi-thread performance
- Up to 2.8x improved GPU AI performance
The platform also supports modern connectivity standards such as:
- Thunderbolt 4
- Wi-Fi 7
- Bluetooth 6
With up to 40 platform TOPS of AI performance, Core Series 3 systems are positioned as a meaningful upgrade for everyday users looking to step into AI-enhanced computing.
Intel expects more than 70 designs powered by Intel Core Series 3 processors to launch globally in the coming months, further expanding the reach of AI-ready PCs across different price segments.
With both Core Ultra Series 3 and Core Series 3 now arriving in Malaysia, Intel is clearly doubling down on its vision of making AI PCs the new standard—bringing smarter, faster, and more efficient computing experiences to users at every level.
