Infinix Unveils ZERO X NEO and INBook X1 Series in Malaysia

Infinix, a Hong Kong-based smartphone brand has unveiled two new products that will be part of its Artificial Intelligence-of-Things (AIoT) ecosystem — the ZERO X NEO and the INBook X1 series laptops.

For those who are not familiar with the term AIoT, AIoT is an ecosystem of connected smart devices that communicate via an internet connection to improve human-machine interactions, ultimately aiming to offer a borderless and seamless experience for the end-product users.

ZERO X NEO

Firstly, the ZERO X NEO, which is more photographically capable, if one can put it this way, in the ZERO X lineup. It has a spec-ed-out camera setup and software-related features that aid in capturing better images.

The ZERO X NEO features a 48MP Super Night rear camera and a 16MP dual flash front camera. The cameras are capable of night photography, 5x Optical Zoom, and record videos in 960FPS super slow motion and 4K time-lapse. It also comes with an AI algorithm software installed, called the Galileo Algorithm Engine, it combines lunar exposure and focuses locking systems to quickly adjust the focus to the clearest predicted position.

As for the operating system, the ZERO X NEO is running the latest XOS 7.6 software, which now has updates that integrate applications designed for a smarter life. The phone also has a large 5,000mAh battery with 18W fast charging.

The ZERO X NEO will come in three colors — Nebula Black, Starry Silver, and Bahamas Blue. The only 128GB+8GB variant will be priced at RM899.

INBook X1 Series

Next up, the INBook X1 series. The INBook X1 laptops are Infinix’s first-ever laptops. These laptops have a thin and lightweight design, paired with ultimate performance. Infinix aims to deliver bespoke devices with industry-leading capabilities to meet customer demand. The INBook X1 will come in three variants, which are:

• INBook X1 Pro with Intel Core i7-1065G7 with Intel Iris Plus
• INBook X1 with Intel Core i5-1005G1
• INBook X1 with Intel Core i3-1035G1

The INBook X1 laptops feature a sandblasted anodized body that was made from aluminum. It also weighs less than 1.48kg and has a thickness of 16.3mm. The device also has a 180-degree hinge, making it flexible and easy to use for presentations or media consumption. The screen is a 14-inch FHD IPS display with ultra-thin bezels for a clean look. The INBook X1 also has 13 hours of battery life with fast charging. Furthermore, all the laptops also have built-in WiFi 6 wireless network and Bluetooth 5.1.

As for pricing, the Core i3 (256GB+8GB) and the Core i5 (512GB+8GB) variants will be priced at RM1,999 and RM2,499 respectively. The X1 Pro with the Core i7 (512GB+16GB) will be priced at RM3,099.

All products mentioned here will be exclusively launched on Infinix AIOT Official Store on Shopee from 14th October onwards with special discounts and voucher redemptions of up to RM200. On the other hand, customers can also purchase the products through Lazada starting 29 October 2021.
