ILLEGEAR ARTÉ 16 Officially Launched in Malaysia

Local laptop brand, ILLEGEAR, had recently unveiled the ARTÉ 16, expanding the ARTÉ Series of laptops that are designed and targeted for creative professionals. Like the ARTÉ 14, the ILLEGEAR ARTÉ 16 also retains the same aesthetics, build quality, materials, and performance, all packed in a thin and light form factor.

The ILLEGEAR ARTÉ 16 is designed to have a sleek, minimalist exterior without compromises on usability. The chassis is made from magnesium alloy, which gives the device a premium touch and feels whilst not trading off on lightness and sturdiness. It also features a large glass trackpad that also makes the laptop feel even more premium.

Besides that, the ARTÉ 16 features a 16:10 INFINIVISION Display, the thin bezels around the display and a crisp 2,880 x 1,800 display give an impression of staring at a floating display. In addition to that, the display also has a 100% sRGB color gamut and up to 400nits of peak brightness. Optionally, the ARTÉ 16 could also come with a 240Hz refresh rate display instead.

As for the internals, the ARTÉ 16 can be optioned with the latest 12th Gen Intel Core i7 and up to an NVIDIA RTX 3070 Ti. The ARTÉ 16 also has an 80Wh battery to keep the power-hungry components juiced without constant recharging.

There will also be a pleasant selection of ports for accessibility and ease of use, the ILLEGEAR ARTÉ 16 features two USB type A, two USB Type-C as well as support for Bluetooth 5.2 and WiFi 6. On top of that, there are also features that will make a creative’s life better like Thunderbolt 4, HDMI, a full-size SDXC card reader, and a headphone jack.

Pricing for the ILLEGEAR ARTÉ 16 will start at RM8,399. For those who pre-order now, there is a complimentary 1TB Samsung SSD and Thermal Grizzly Kyronaut upgrade for the laptop. The ARTÉ 16 will start shipping around early June of 2022.
