HUAWEI has officially launched the HUAWEI WATCH GT 7 Series in Malaysia, introducing its latest smartwatches with new health insights, improved sports tracking, enhanced route positioning and up to 21 days of battery life.
The new lineup comprises the HUAWEI WATCH GT 7 in 46mm and 41mm sizes, alongside the HUAWEI WATCH GT 7 Pro. Prices start from RM1,199.

One of the key additions to the new series is the HUAWEI-exclusive Diabetes Risk Study, a research initiative led by Universiti Malaya. The study uses pulse-wave signals collected through the watch’s PPG sensor, together with information such as age, gender, height and weight, to assess potential diabetes risk after three to 14 days of continuous wear.
Huawei notes that the assessment is intended to raise awareness and encourage users to seek appropriate professional advice where necessary, rather than serve as a diagnosis for diabetes.
The HUAWEI WATCH GT 7 Series also introduces the Physical Readiness Score, which combines recovery, heart rate variability (HRV), sleep, activity and emotional wellbeing data into a daily assessment. The series additionally supports CE- and MDA-certified Pulse Wave Arrhythmia Analysis, while the WATCH GT 7 Pro comes with CE- and MDA-certified ECG and Arterial Stiffness Assessment.
Other health and wellness features include Morning Briefings, Emotional Wellbeing 2.0, sleep tracking, women’s health tracking, Huawei Health app wellness tools and an on-wrist Health Community.
For its design, the HUAWEI WATCH GT 7 is available in 46mm and 41mm sizes. The 46mm model comes in Yellow, Blue and Black, while the 41mm version is available in Pink, Blue, White and Grey. Meanwhile, the HUAWEI WATCH GT 7 Pro comes in Yellow, Green and Black.
The Pro model features a nano-tech ceramic bezel, an aerospace-grade titanium alloy frame and sapphire glass. Across the series, Huawei also highlights triple protection comprising a super-hard metal coating, IP69 dust resistance and 5 ATM water resistance.
The new HUAWEI EasyCross Strap is also introduced with the series, featuring a tuck-under design intended to keep the strap secure while maintaining a clean and comfortable fit. The AMOLED displays across the lineup can reach up to 3,000 nits of peak brightness for improved visibility outdoors.
For outdoor activities, the HUAWEI WATCH GT 7 Series features enhanced AI-XDR Positioning, which combines GNSS, multiple onboard sensors and positioning algorithms to maintain route tracking in challenging environments, including tunnels and dense urban areas where GPS signals may be limited.
Smart Route Reconstruction can also estimate and restore sections of a route when GPS coverage is interrupted, providing a more complete record of outdoor activities.
The watches support a range of activities including trail running and hiking, with advanced trail metrics, Segment Navigation, Route Back, offline maps and GPX route import. Strava integration is also available for activity tracking and sharing.
The HUAWEI WATCH GT 7 Pro further expands its outdoor capabilities with golf features such as Plays-like Distance and Shot Distance tracking, as well as freediving support down to 40 metres.
Cyclists can make use of Climb Planning, Climb Broadcast and Sharp Turn Alerts, while AI Workout Analysis provides post-workout insights into performance and recovery. The series also supports indoor and outdoor skiing and snowboarding, with maps covering more than 3,000 ski resorts worldwide.
For racket sports, dedicated apps including Tennix for tennis, PickleX for pickleball and Goodshot for badminton provide additional performance data, including smash speed, swing frequency and longest rally.
Battery life remains one of the key features of the new lineup. Using Huawei’s high-silicon stacked battery technology, the HUAWEI WATCH GT 7 Pro and WATCH GT 7 46mm can deliver up to 21 days of battery life under light-use conditions, while the 41mm model offers up to 14 days.
The series also supports Touch ‘n Go QR Payment and is compatible with both Android and iOS devices.
