Huawei has officially unveiled a trio of new wearable devices in Malaysia under its “Now Is Your Spark” campaign, headlined by the latest HUAWEI WATCH FIT 5 Series. Joining the lineup are the luxurious HUAWEI WATCH ULTIMATE DESIGN Spring Edition and the HUAWEI FreeClip 2 in a fresh Berry Purple finish, further expanding Huawei’s growing ecosystem of fashion-forward smart wearables.
HUAWEI WATCH FIT 5 Series
The new HUAWEI WATCH FIT 5 Series builds on Huawei’s signature square smartwatch design with a more premium look and upgraded hardware. The standard WATCH FIT 5 comes equipped with a 1.82-inch display, while the Pro variant steps things up with a larger 1.92-inch screen, slimmer bezels, and peak brightness of up to 3,000 nits for improved outdoor visibility.
Huawei is also placing a stronger emphasis on premium materials this time around. The WATCH FIT 5 Pro features aerospace-grade titanium alloy bezels paired with durable sapphire glass, while the White Edition introduces Aerospace-Grade Nanoceramic Metal technology for enhanced durability and a refined finish. Huawei has also introduced new lightweight straps, including a recycled nylon option with antibacterial and water-repellent properties.
Beyond the refreshed design, the WATCH FIT 5 Pro brings several new wellness and health-focused features. One of the highlights is Malaysia’s first diabetes risk study integrated into a wearable smartwatch, using non-invasive PPG-based vascular signal analysis to monitor potential diabetes risk patterns over time.
The smartwatch also includes ECG monitoring, Pulse Wave Arrhythmia Analysis, arterial stiffness detection, TruSleep 5.0 sleep tracking, HRV analysis, emotional well-being monitoring, and women’s health features, offering users a more comprehensive health management experience.
Fitness tracking has also been expanded with new sports-focused features tailored for badminton, pickleball, and tennis through integrations such as Goodshot, PickleX, and Tennix. The WATCH FIT 5 Pro further enhances outdoor capabilities with support for trail running, golf, route navigation, cycling metrics, and freediving up to 40 metres. Huawei says the watch also supports golf course maps for over 17,000 courses globally.
Huawei Malaysia also announced its collaboration with Majlis Sukan Negara (MSN) to support Malaysia’s sports ecosystem through athlete recognition initiatives, including contributions to the prestigious Anugerah Sukan Negara awards.
For daily activity tracking, the WATCH FIT 5 Series introduces a new mini-workout feature featuring over 30 guided exercises targeting 10 body parts. Huawei’s panda-themed virtual companion adds playful prompts and motivational reminders throughout the day to encourage users to stay active.
The smartwatch series remains compatible with both Android and iOS devices and offers up to 10 days of battery life, 64GB of storage, Touch ‘n Go QR payment support, and various smart lifestyle features.
The HUAWEI WATCH FIT 5 Series is now available for pre-order in Malaysia, starting from RM799. Huawei also introduced the new HUAWEI WATCH ULTIMATE DESIGN Spring Edition, expanding its premium smartwatch portfolio following the earlier Royal Gold Edition. Designed in collaboration with renowned jewellery designer Francesca Amfitheatrof, the new Spring Edition takes inspiration from the beauty of spring with elegant Fibonacci-inspired curves, diamond-cut sapphire glass, and 99 natural diamonds embedded into the design.
The luxury smartwatch is positioned as both a fashion statement and a high-end wellness wearable, blending premium craftsmanship with Huawei’s smart health features. The HUAWEI WATCH ULTIMATE DESIGN Spring Edition is priced at RM17,999 and is now open for pre-order in Malaysia. Huawei is also offering premium after-sales services and exclusive gifts worth up to RM5,143 for early customers. HUAWEI FreeClip 2 in Berry Purple
Completing the launch is the HUAWEI FreeClip 2 in the new Berry Purple colour option. The open-ear earbuds retain Huawei’s signature Airy C-Bridge design, delivering lightweight comfort while allowing users to remain aware of their surroundings. Huawei says the earbuds are designed for users who frequently switch between devices throughout the day while still wanting an immersive listening experience.
