The Huawei P20 now features the trendy dual-glass design reinforced with a metal frame. The phone is IP53-rated for dust and splash resistance. Besides Pink Gold, Midnight Blue, and Black, Huawei has introduced the Twilight color, which comes with a very catchy gradient.

The phone sports a 5.8-inch LCD display with the resolution of 2,244 x 1,080. Powering the device is the Kirin 970 processor with 4GB RAM and 128GB internal storage.

Camera wise, the P20 packs a 12MP RGB (with OIS) + 20MP monochrome Leica Dual Camera setup. Its camera comes with portrait mode with various backgrounds and lighting effects. Additionally, the camera is also capable of recording 720p@960fps slow-mo video, just like the Samsung Galaxy S9. There’s also a new 24MP front camera for taking selfies, as well as doing Face Unlock.

Juicing up the device is a 3,400mAh battery, which also supports Huawei SuperCharge. The device runs on EMUI 8.1 based on Android 8.1 Oreo.

The P20 Pro has the same design language as the P20, including the color choices. The phone sports a 6.1-inch OLED (2,240 x 1,080 pixels) display. Powering the device is the same Kirin 970 processor, but this time it has 6GB RAM. The internal storage remains 128GB, though.

The main highlight of this device is the Leica Triple Camera setup — an 8MP RGB f/2.4 telephoto lens + 40MP 1/1.7″ RGB sensor + 20MP f/1.6 monochrome sensor. With the telephoto lens, the device now capable of doing 3x optical zoom, the 5x hybrid zoom is still there too. The new camera setup also allows the phone to have a maximum ISO of 102,400. The 720p@960fps slow-mo capturing is there as well. Selfie wise, it’s the same 24MP front camera that uses for Face Unlock too, similar to the P20.

The Huawei P20 Pro has a massive 4,000mAh battery with Huawei SuperCharge supported. It runs on EMUI 8.1 based on Android 8.1 Oreo.

Both the P20 and P20 Pro set to launch in Malaysia on April 3, next Tuesday. Stay tuned as we will be covering the event!
