We recently reviewed the HUAWEI MatePad Pro, which is a good alternative to a basic laptop. However, the tablet that we reviewed was the Wi-Fi only variant. From 26th June onwards, the HUAWEI MatePad Pro 5G will go on sale, retailing at RM3,299 with exciting free gifts.
A quick recap of the specs, the MatePad Pro is the world’s first FullView display tablet. It sports a 10.8-inch WQXGA LCD display with DCI-P3 wide color gamut. There’s a hole-punch camera at the corner of the screen, by the way. Powering the tablet is a Kirin 990 5G processor with 8GB RAM and up to 512GB expandable storage.
The tablet has a 13MP f/1.8 rear camera and an 8MP f/2.0 front camera. It packs a 7,250mAh battery and supports 10V/4A charging. The tablet runs on EMUI 10.1 based on Android 10 and it supports accessories like the M-Pencil and Smart Magnetic Keyboard.
The HUAWEI MatePad Pro 5G will be available in Forest Green retailing at RM3,299. Customers will receive HUAWEI Video with premium access (3 months dimsum + 3 months Qello Concert + 3 months The Explorers ) and a year of 50GB HUAWEI Cloud storage. At the same time, purchasing the Smart Magnetic Keyboard (RM499) will get a free HUAWEI M-Pencil (worth RM299).
