HUAWEI announced the MatePad Pro 11 and MateBook X Pro (2022) last month at its APAC Smart Office Launch 2022. Well, both devices will be available in Malaysia on August 19.
HUAWEI MatePad Pro 11
The MatePad Pro 11 is the company’s latest premium tablet with an 11-inch WQXGA (2,560 x 1,600) OLED FullView 120Hz display. Powering the tablet is either a Qualcomm Snapdragon 888 processor or a Qualcomm Snapdragon 870 processor. It has two storage configurations — 128GB and 256GB.
It is also the first tablet to come equipped with HUAWEI SOUND. Six custom speakers are fine-tuned to extract as much enriching detail from your music as possible with clear high and low-frequency division, allowing you to enjoy immersive, cinematic surround sound from the comfort of home.
With HarmonyOS 3, high-level features like Multi-Window make multi-tasking remarkably easy while working alongside the 1.5 mm detachable HUAWEI Smart Magnetic Keyboard and newly-enhanced HUAWEI M-Pencil (2nd generation) to endow the tablet with PC-level office and creative capabilities. HUAWEI has also introduced a new white HUAWEI M-Pencil (2nd generation).

HUAWEI MateBook X Pro (2022)
The 2022 MateBook X Pro only weighs 1.26kg and it features a skin-soothing metallic body in Ink Blue finish. The laptop sports a 14.2-inch 3.1K (3,120 x 2,080) Real Color FullView Display with 3:2 aspect ratio. The TÜV Eye Comfort 3.0 certified screen has a maximum brightness of 500 nits and it comes with a 90Hz refresh rate.
Powering the laptop is the 12th Intel Core i7-1260P processor with 16GB LPDDR5 RAM and 1TB NVMe PCIe SSD. It comes with two Thunderbolt 4 ports and the 60Wh battery can only be charged via the USB-C port.
Additionally, HUAWEI also developed many video call features for its 720p webcam — Beauty, FollowCam, Eye Contact, and Virtual Background. The full-area pressure-sensitive touchpad is sensitive to every touch of your finger. With two new gestures in the upper-left and upper-right corners, the slightest movement is all you’ll need to move across the screen.
The HUAWEI MateBook X Pro is priced at RM9,999 with freebies (Pre-installed Office Home& Student 2021 worth RM529 and a pair of Sound Joy worth RM1,398) worth up to RM1,927.
