HUAWEI today officially launched the HUAWEI MatePad 11 and new variants of the MateBook series in Malaysia. From now until August 5th, all devices are now available for pre-order on HUAWEI Store Online, HUAWEI Experience Store, HUAWEI Flagship Store on Lazada, and HUAWEI Official Store on Shopee.
HUAWEI MatePad 11
The HUAWEI MatePad 11 is the company’s first-ever tablet with a 120Hz refresh rate. The tablet sports a 10.95-inch WQXGA (2,560×1,600 pixels) IPS display with 86% screen-to-body ratio. Powering the tablet is a Qualcomm Snapdragon 865 processor with 6GB RAM and up to 256GB expandable storage.
The tablet packs a 13MP camera with an LED flash on the back. It has an 8MP front-facing camera, which is now located on top of the display, instead of the hole-punch cutout like last year’s MatePad Pro.
The HUAWEI MatePad 11 is compatible with the upgraded HUAWEI M-Pencil (2nd Generation), which now also supports Double Tap to Switch tools. The M-Pencil has an almost imperceptible lag that is as low as 2ms and has 4,096 pressure sensitivity and tilt sensitivity. It is designed to give you natural writing experience just like a real pen for a flawless writing and drawing experience, reminiscent of the feel of a pencil on paper.
The tablet has a 7,250mAh battery and it supports 22.5W quick charging. It runs on HarmonyOS 2, which now supports tablet and PC interactions via Multi-screen Collaboration. The innovative Collaborate Mode enables true cross-platform interactions between HarmonyOS 2 and Windows, allowing users to transfer content such as text, images, and documents between connected devices with a simple drag and drop. The brand-new Multi-Window feature supports the display of up to four apps concurrently. It also supports two concurrent floating windows for an even better cross-app multi-tasking experience.
New MateBook Variants
To complement the HUAWEI MatePad 11 for better efficiency, HUAWEI also launched four new variants of the HUAWEI MateBook Series — HUAWEI MateBook D15 10th and 11th Generation Intel Core i5 with 8GB RAM, HUAWEI D14 10th Generation Intel Core i3 for and HUAWEI MateBook 14 with the latest AMD Ryzen 4000 H Series Processor. These new variants are technically the same as the previous variants but come with new processors.
First available with AMD processor, the MateBook D15 now comes with 10th and 11th Generation Intel Core i5 processors. The 11th Gen variant even has a more powerful Intel Iris Xe integrated graphics, which is better than the Intel UHD 620 integrated graphics on the 10th Gen.
As for the new variant of MateBook D14, it is now powered by the 10th Generation Intel Core i3 processor. While the latest variant of the HUAWEI MateBook 14 is powered by the AMD Ryzen 4000 H Series Processor — accelerating and enhancing overall performance.
