HTC U20 5G and Desire 20 pro Officially Announced

HTC had finally announced two new smartphones — the HTC U20 5G and Desire 20 pro. With these two new models, HTC wants to demonstrate its strong ambition towards realizing a new generation of Internet of Things with 5G.

HTC U20 5G

The U20 5G is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 765G Mobile platform, which features the Snapdragon X52 5G Modem-RF System, that has exceptional 5G capabilities, processor performance, and longer-lasting battery life. HTC ensures network compatibility during the transition of 5G infrastructure deployment as the U20 5G supports both standalone and non-standalone 5G networks. The U20 also shares the same five-camera system as the Desire 20 Pro. The system includes a 32MP front camera, and four cameras on the back, offering features like a larger aperture, super wide-angle, super macro, and bokeh. The screen on the U20 is 6.8-inch with an aspect ratio of 20:9, providing great visual fidelity. The phone uses a super high capacity battery of 5,000mAh with power-saving technology.

The HTC U20 5G is available in 8GB RAM + 256GB storage with two colors to choose from: Green and White. It retails for NT$18,990, approximately RM2746 in Malaysia.

HTC Desire 20 pro

The Desire 20 pro features a new five-camera system, including a 25MP front camera and four back cameras arranged in a stylish straight line, offering comprehensive camera features such as large aperture, super wide-angle, super macro, and bokeh. The display on the HTC Desire 20 Pro is a 6.5 inch for a better visual experience, coupled with a 5,000mAH high capacity battery with power-saving technology.

The Desire 20 Pro is available in 6GB RAM + 128GB storage version with two colors — Black and Blue for consumers to pick. It retails for NT$8,990, which converts to RM1300 in Malaysia.
