HTC announces the One ME, M9+ plus E9+?

HTC has officially announced a new high-end Android Lollipop smartphone, the One ME which has been previously rumored to be called the One M9. The One ME is powered by MediaTek’s brand new Helio X10 processor – a 64-bit, 2.2 GHz octa-core chipset that’s been announced earlier this year.

As previously reported the One ME has certainly lifted a few design elements from the One E9 and the One M9+, having a polycarbonate body strengthened with a metal frame. The new handset also comes with a fingerprint sensor, BoomSound speakers with Dolby Surround sound, LTE, dual-SIM support and a 5.2-inch Quad HD display (1,440 x 2,560 pixels) display.

The One ME has a single 20 MP camera on the back with 4K video recording and dual LED flash, while the front has a 4 MP UltraPixel camera. Other notable features of the One ME include 3 GB of RAM, 32 GB of internal storage, MicroSD card support and a 2,840 mAh battery.

It will be launched in 3 color versions, Meteor Grey, Gold Sepia and Rose Gold. This brand new smartphone would first be available in China and Asian markets for an unknown price but release in other regions has been as of yet unconfirmed.
