HONOR Malaysia officially announced the new HONOR X9b, which is the company’s toughest smartphone ever. Showcasing industry-leading drop resistance and durability, the phone’s display incorporates the HONOR Ultra-Bounce Anti-Drop technology ensuring utmost durability even when subject to drops from a height of 1.5 meters and all angles.
The HONOR X9b sports a 6.78-inch AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate and a resolution of 2,652 x 1,200. Powering the phone is a 4nm Qualcomm Snapdragon 6 Gen 1 processor with 12GB RAM and 256GB UFS 3.1 storage.
The phone packs a triple-camera setup on the back — a 108MP f/1.75 main camera + 5MP ultra-wide camera + macro camera. The phone also has a 16MP front camera for taking selfies.
Juicing up the device is a 5,800mAh battery and it is also IP53 water and dust resistance too. Retailing at RM1,499, the HONOR X9b comes with 2 years of warranty and is available in three color options — Sunrise Orange which uses Vegan leather, Midnight Black, and Titanium Silver. Each pre-order will get gifts worth up to RM978, which includes the HONOR CHOICE Earbuds X5, HONOR CHOICE MOECEN Band, and a 365-day Front & Back Crack Replacement.
