MWC 2024: HONOR Unveils Magic6 Pro and MagicBook Pro 16

HONOR officially announced the global debut of Magic6 Pro and its latest AI PC, the MagicBook Pro 16. Both devices are equipped with HONOR’s platform-level AI, enhancing user experiences with a focus on human-centric empowerment.

HONOR Magic6 Pro

Say hello to HONOR’s latest flagship phone — the HONOR Magic6 Pro, which is the successor to last year’s Magic5 Pro. The phone introduces the next generation of what the company terms the Falcon Camera system. This innovative system incorporates AI Motion Sensing capabilities, enabling it to detect motion and capture multiple frames even before the shutter is pressed, allowing users to seize the perfect image effortlessly.

The triple-camera setup on the back features a 50MP main camera with variable aperture capabilities (f/1.4 and f/2.0, OIS), a 180MP tele-falcon camera with 2.5x optical zoom and up to 100x digital zoom, and a 50MP ultra-wide camera with autofocus. There’s also a 50MP front camera for taking selfies.

The HONOR Magic6 Pro sports a 6.8-inch LTPO OLED display with NanoCrystal Shield that has 10 times greater shock absorption compared to regular glass. Powering the phone is the latest Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 processor with up to 16GB RAM and 1TB storage.

The HONOR Magic6 Pro packs a 5,600mAh battery that also supports 80W wired and 66W wireless charging. The phone runs on MagicOS 8.0 based on Android 14. HONOR also promises 4 major OS updates and 5 years of security patches. Other features include 5G, Wi-Fi 7, Bluetooth 5.3, Infrared port, stereo speakers, and IP68 water and dust resistance. In terms of color options, the HONOR Magic6 Pro is available in Black and Epi Green.

HONOR MagicBook Pro 16

The HONOR MagicBook Pro 16 is the company’s latest AI-powered laptop designed for seamless cross-OS collaboration. The laptop sports a 16-inch 3K display with 500 nits brightness, 100% coverage of the DCI-P3 and sRGB gamuts, as well as HDR support.

Powering the laptop is the latest Intel Core Ultra 7 155H processor with 8GB NVIDIA RTX 4060 GPU, 1TB storage, and 32GB RAM. It comes with a metal body that comes in a cool rainbow-like white color, which HONOR uses 3D Coloring Spray Technology to achieve the effect. It has a full-sized keyboard with Numpad and a total of six speakers, which HONOR claims that it supports Spatial Audio.

You can log in to the laptop with Windows Hello, either the fingerprint reader inside the power button or the infrared camera above the screen.

The laptop has a 75Wh battery that can achieve 10 hours in PCMark 10’s battery test according to HONOR, and the entire laptop only weighs 1.86kg.

The HONOR MagicBook 16 Pro, available in White and Midnight Black will be available starting from Q2 2024.

HONOR Pad 9

The HONOR Pad 9 is a 12.1-inch tablet that comes with a 120 Hz refresh rate and a resolution of 2,560 x 1,600 pixels in a 16:10 ratio. The tablet is powered by a Snapdragon 6 Gen 1 chipset and it also features an eight-speaker audio system featuring HONOR Histen sound tuning technology.

Porsche Design

At this year’s MWC, HONOR not only officially introduced the Porsche Design HONOR Magic V2 RSR foldable smartphone to the global stage for the first time but also unveiled a teaser for the Porsche Design HONOR Magic6 RSR. This device also embodies the DNA of Porsche Design.
