HONOR has announced the nationwide availability of the HONOR Pad 20 Series in Malaysia, comprising the HONOR Pad 20 and HONOR Pad 20 Pro. Starting from RM1,999, the new tablet series combines large 3K displays, long battery life, PC-class productivity tools and built-in AI features for work, learning and entertainment.
The HONOR Pad 20 Pro also marks the debut of HONOR’s Paperlike Display in Malaysia. Featuring an anti-glare matte finish, the display is designed to reduce glare and reflections while providing a more natural feel when reading or writing with a stylus.
Both tablets feature a 12.1-inch 3K HONOR Eye-Comfort Display paired with a six-speaker surround sound system. The HONOR Pad 20 supports a 120Hz refresh rate, while the Pad 20 Pro steps things up with a 165Hz refresh rate for smoother scrolling, gaming and multitasking.
HONOR has also equipped the Pad 20 with six eye-comfort technologies, including hardware-level low blue light, DC Dimming, Dynamic Dimming, AI Circadian Night Display, Nature Tone Display and AI Defocus Display. The tablet is also TÜV Rheinland Low Blue Light (Hardware Solution) and Flicker-Free certified.
The Pad 20 Pro’s Paperlike Display adds a soft-light, anti-glare matte surface intended to make extended reading and note-taking more comfortable.
Both models pack a 10,100mAh battery, which HONOR describes as the largest in its class. The company claims up to 71 days of standby time, nine hours of video playback, seven hours of gaming, 10 hours of HONOR Notes usage and 14 hours of reading.
Charging support differs between the two models. The standard HONOR Pad 20 supports 45W wired fast charging, while the Pad 20 Pro supports 66W wired charging.
The HONOR Pad 20 Series is designed to double as a portable workstation with its PC Mode. Users can connect a keyboard and mouse to access a desktop-style interface for tasks such as creating documents, organising files and completing assignments.
The tablets support up to 15 windows simultaneously, with each window being freely resized and repositioned. Three-way and four-way split-screen layouts are also available for users who need to work across multiple applications.
HONOR has also included PC-Class WPS Office, developed jointly with WPS for HONOR tablet users, offering desktop-style document editing while maintaining consistent formatting between tablets and PCs. A customisable File Manager is included for managing files and folders.
AI is another key part of the HONOR Pad 20 Series, with HONOR bringing its self-developed AI tools from its flagship Magic Series tablets to the new models.
HONOR AI Memo can record conversations and convert speech to text in real time, making it suitable for lectures, online classes and meetings. Its AI Translation function can translate transcriptions into a selected language, while AI Summary can turn lengthy discussions into key points.
HONOR Notes also includes AI Reading, which can summarise notes, generate audio summaries and create mind maps. Meanwhile, AI Creation can help polish written content, adjust its length and proofread text.
Through HONOR Connect, the Pad 20 Series supports file transfers across iOS, macOS, Android and Windows devices. Users can transfer documents, images, videos and other files, while also wirelessly extending the tablet’s display to a larger screen for presentations, meetings or entertainment.
The tablets can also convert iWork files, including Pages, Numbers and Keynote documents, into Microsoft Office formats for easier editing and sharing.
The HONOR Pad 20 Pro is powered by the Snapdragon 8s Gen 4, while the standard HONOR Pad 20 comes with the Snapdragon 7 Gen 3. HONOR positions both models for everyday multitasking, online learning, meetings, gaming and streaming.

- HONOR Pad 20 5G (16GB RAM + 256GB storage, with 8GB HONOR RAM Turbo) – RM2,299
Customers can also receive complimentary gifts worth up to RM898, including a smart Bluetooth keyboard and HONOR Magic-Pencil 4S. The HONOR Pad 20 comes with the USB-C version of the accessory, while the Pro model supports the magnetic version with attachment and charging support.
Eligible students can enjoy a 15% education discount, bringing the starting price down to RM1,699.15.
