HONOR has maintained its position as Malaysia’s No.1 Android tablet brand by sales quantity for 27 consecutive months, with the company recording a 32% market share, according to International Data Corporation (IDC). The company is also preparing to introduce the new HONOR Pad 20 Series in Malaysia.
The latest milestone means around one in every three Android tablets sold in Malaysia is an HONOR tablet. The company has maintained its leadership from Q2 2024 through Q2 2026, with demand spanning its entry-level, mid-range and flagship tablet segments.
HONOR attributes the continued growth to its expanding tablet portfolio, which is designed to cater to different user needs including online learning, productivity, entertainment and content creation.
The company’s latest flagship tablet, the HONOR MagicPad 4, also recorded strong demand following its launch. The tablet introduced what HONOR describes as the industry’s first 2-in-1 AI PC and tablet dual OS, while achieving more than twice the sales of its predecessor and becoming HONOR’s most successful flagship tablet launch to date.
Beyond its tablet lineup, HONOR is also expanding its AI-powered ecosystem, enabling connectivity between its smartphones, tablets, laptops and wearables. The ecosystem also extends compatibility to Mac and iPhone devices, allowing users to work across different platforms with greater convenience.
HONOR Pad 20 Series Coming Soon
Following the success of the HONOR Pad 10, HONOR is preparing to introduce the new HONOR Pad 20 Series in Malaysia.
The upcoming series is positioned as an all-round tablet lineup designed to make flagship-inspired features more accessible to Malaysian consumers. It is aimed at users who want a combination of productivity, entertainment and everyday versatility in a portable form factor.
Compared to its predecessor, the HONOR Pad 20 Series will bring upgrades across several areas, including its display, AI-powered productivity features, performance, battery capacity and speaker system.
The series will also feature PC Mode and productivity-focused functions, allowing the tablets to serve as a more practical alternative to conventional laptops for users with lighter computing requirements. This includes university students, young professionals and users who need a device for studying, working, creating and entertainment.
HONOR says the Pad 20 Series is designed to bridge the gap between tablet portability and PC-like productivity, giving users a single device for both work and entertainment.
