HONOR Malaysia Launches Intelligent Lifestyle Products

HONOR Malaysia today officially launched intelligent lifestyle products, featuring the HONOR 9X Pro, HONOR MagicBook, and HONOR MagicWatch 2 (42mm) in Sakura Gold.

The line of products is an extension of the brand’s Intelligent Lifestyle ecosystem and strengthened the brand’s commitment to expanding its IoT ecosystem by creating a sophisticated and connected experience for all.

HONOR 9X Pro

The HONOR 9X Pro is the improved version of the 9X, which we reviewed last year. It sports a 6.59-inch Full HD+ IPS HONOR FullView display with a 92% screen-to-body ratio. Powering the phone is a 7nm Kirin 810 octa-core processor with 6GB RAM and 256GB expandable storage.

The phone packs a triple-camera setup on the back — 48MP main + 8MP super-wide-angle + 2MP depth assist sensor. Selfie wise, there’s a 16MP pop-up front camera. The phone has a 4,000mAh battery, which should be able to provide an all-day battery life. It runs on EMUI 9.1.1 based on Android 9, and the phone doesn’t come with Google Mobile Services, first HONOR smartphone in Malaysia with HUAWEI Mobile Services.

The phone will be available in Malaysia from 17 April 2020, retailing at RM999. Each purchase of the phone will get a free HONOR Band 5i. Stay tuned for our full review as we are currently working on it.

HONOR MagicBook

The HONOR MagicBook is the company’s first Windows 10 laptop in Malaysia. It is an1.45kg lightweight laptop with a 14-inch IPS Full HD display. The laptop is powered by the second-generation AMD Ryzen 5 3500U processor with 8GB DDR4 RAM and 512GB SSD. It comes with the HONOR Magic-link feature, which links your HONOR smartphone to the laptop.

The HONOR MagicBook will be available in Malaysia from 8 April 2020 at Hihonor, Shopee, Senheng, and SenQ. Retailing at RM2,299, each purchase of the laptop will receive free gifts worth up to RM 1,017 in the form of an HONOR MagicWatch 2, Bluetooth wireless mouse, and HONOR laptop backpack.

HONOR MagicWatch 2 Sakura Gold

Lastly, the company also launched the 42mm HONOR MagicWatch 2 in Sakura Gold. It features a Milanese wristband and runs on the Kirin AI chipset, giving it 7 days of battery life. The elegant smartwatch will receive the SpO2 blood oxygen monitor and female cycle tracking feature via an OTA update on 10 April.
