A few months after its global debut, HONOR has officially launched the Magic V6 in Malaysia. While the foldable retains much of the design language introduced by its predecessor, it arrives with several notable upgrades, including a new steel hinge that promises improved durability and structural strength.
The HONOR Magic V6 features a 6.52-inch LTPO AMOLED cover display with a resolution of 2420 x 1080 pixels, a 120Hz refresh rate, and up to 6,000 nits peak brightness. Unfolded, users are greeted by a larger 7.95-inch LTPO AMOLED inner screen offering a 2352 x 2172 pixel resolution, a 120Hz refresh rate, and peak brightness of up to 5,000 nits. Both displays support stylus input, while the device also carries IP68 and IP69 ratings for dust and water resistance.
Powering the foldable is Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 chipset, paired with 16GB RAM and up to 1TB of internal storage. Keeping the device running is a sizeable 6,660mAh silicon-carbon battery that supports 80W wired fast charging, 66W wireless charging, and wireless reverse charging.
On the software front, the Magic V6 runs Android 16-based MagicOS 10 out of the box. HONOR has integrated several AI-powered features, including AI Meeting Agent and AI Suggestions, while also enhancing cross-platform compatibility with support for file transfers and screen sharing with Apple devices. Connectivity options include 5G, WiFi 7, Bluetooth 6.0, NFC, and more.
For photography, the Magic V6 is equipped with a triple-camera setup consisting of a 50MP main sensor, a 50MP ultra-wide camera, and a 64MP periscope telephoto lens. Although the hardware configuration remains similar to its predecessor, HONOR says image stabilisation has been improved, with the camera system achieving a CIPA 6.5 stabilisation rating. Selfies are handled by a pair of 20MP front-facing cameras located on both the cover and inner displays.
The HONOR Magic V6 is offered in Ferghana Red, Ivory White, Sunrise Gold, and Classic Black colour options. Pre-orders are now available through HONOR’s online and retail channels until 11 June 2026, with open sales commencing afterwards.
In terms of pricing, the 512GB variant is priced at RM7,699, while the 1TB model retails for RM8,899. Customers who place a pre-order can also receive complimentary gifts worth up to RM3,797, including a Skyworth 43-inch Google TV, one-year Worry-Free Crack Protection, and two-year Worry-Free Quality Assurance coverage.
