Honor 4A goes official with 2 GB RAM

Huawei sub-brand, Honor, had unveiled the company’s latest entry-level device – Honor 4A. Nope, the Honor 4A isn’t just an ordinary entry-level device, it’s a pretty decent entry-level device.

So why it’s a decent entry-level device? The Honor 4A sports a 5″ 720p IPS display and is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 210 processor with 2 GB of RAM. The 8 GB internal storage is expandable via MicroSD card up to 128 GB.

Camera wise, the device packs an 8 MP f/2.0 camera with BSI sensor, while the front camera is a 2 MP unit. The company claims that the device is able to take a macro shoot within the distance of 5 cm.

The Honor 4A is running on Android 5.1 Lollipop with EMUI 3.1 on top. Its 2,200 mAh is said to be able to last for up to 1.5 days with moderate usage.

The Honor 4A is a dual SIM device that will be available in two variants. The 3G variant costs 599 Yuan, while the 4G variant cost 699 Yuan. It’s surprising to know that you can actually get this device with 2 GB of RAM at such an affordable price tag. Unfortunately, no news about its availability in Malaysia at the moment.
