Together with the GoPro Fusion, the GoPro HERO also made its official appearance at the launch today! The HERO was just announced, an entry-level action camera for those who plan to buy their first action camera.
In terms of design, the HERO looks a lot like the HERO6 Black, only the specs are different. The HERO features a 2-inch touch display. It is waterproof to 30ft (10m), meaning you can go where your smartphone can’t to capture every adventure with no worries.
The camera captures 1440p@60fps or 1080p@60fps video and 10MP stills, no 4K recording like the HERO6 Black. It also features video stabilization that helps you smooth out the shakes.
Besides pressing the record button to start recording, you can also use the Voice Control feature to start/stop recording, take a photo, turn off, etc. It is also compatible with the GoPro and Quik Stories apps where it transforms into a beautifully edited video with music and effects. Furthermore, the HERO is also compatible with more than 30 GoPro mounting accessories.
Retailing at just RM949, which is pretty affordable, the GoPro HERO will be available exclusively on Lazada Malaysia from 3rd April 2018 onwards.
