Google has officially unveiled the Pixel Watch 4 and the Pixel Buds 2a. While the new Pixel Watch retains the same design as its predecessor, it brings a brighter display, improved performance, and longer battery life. The Pixel Buds 2a, on the other hand, enter the market as a more affordable option beneath the Pixel Buds Pro 2.
Pixel Watch 4
The Watch 4 comes in 41mm (1.2-inch display) and 45mm (1.4-inch display) variants. Both feature upgraded panels that reach 3,000 nits peak brightness, improving outdoor visibility. Powering the watch is the new Snapdragon W5+ Gen 1 chipset, which includes an AON co-processor to handle low-power tasks and extend efficiency. The 41mm model now carries a 327mAh battery while the 45mm features a 459mAh unit, offering up to 30 and 40 hours of runtime with an always-on display, respectively. Charging is now 25% faster thanks to a redesigned dock that also enables side charging, turning the watch into a desk alarm.
Health features include ECG, SpO2, breathing rate, HRV tracking, and support for over 40 workout modes. The Pixel Watch 4 is also Gemini-ready, allowing users to interact with Google’s AI assistant directly from the wrist. Band options include Obsidian, Porcelain, and Moonstone (Active Band), and Indigo, Limoncello, and Iris (Sport Band), with the Active Band now made of a softer new material.
Pixel Buds 2a
Meanwhile, the Pixel Buds 2a succeed the Pixel Buds A series, which launched four years ago. Despite being budget-friendly, they include active noise cancellation, though they skip the Silent Seal 2.0 passive isolation found in the Pixel Buds Pro 2. The earbuds last up to 7 hours on a single charge, with the case extending playback to 20 hours, though it does not support wireless charging. Available in Gray and Iris, they provide a more affordable entry point into Google’s TWS ecosystem.
Pricing and Availability
The Buds 2a will go on sale from 9 October 2025, alongside the Pixel 10 Pro Fold. The Watch 4 will arrive a little later, hitting selected authorized retailers in November 2025.
