Doogee today has announced the successor of the X5 — X5 Max. The Doogee X5 Max comes with a few upgrades over the X5. One of the upgrades is a bigger battery: it now packs a 4,000 mAh battery, which offers longer battery life.
The X5 Max also comes with an additional fingerprint sensor, which is what the original X5 lacks of. It also features metal coating frame instead of plastic.
Camera wise, both front and rear cameras are 8 MP units. The rear camera has the pixel size of 1.34 μm matched with f/1.8 aperture lens, while the front camera has a 1.4 μm pixel size with f/2.0 aperture.
The rest of the specs are pretty similar — 5-inch HD IPS display, MediaTek MT6580 processor, 1 GB RAM and 8 GB expandable storage. However, the device is running on Android 6.0 Marshmallow. The Dual ID System feature allows you to log into two Facebook, Twitter and other social media accounts at the same time.
The Doogee X5 Max will be available in Malaysia next month. Unfortunately, Doogee didn’t mention the price of it at the moment.
