Continental Tyres has introduced the UltraContact UX7, a tyre specifically designed for SUVs. Available in sizes from 15 to 22 inches, it will be sold at Continental-branded outlets and official stores on Shopee, TnG, and Lazada starting in the second quarter.
The UltraContact UX7 prioritizes safety, durability, and quietness. Its X-Force Macroblocks increase the tyre’s contact area for improved handling and stability. The Adaptive Diamond Compound uses a silica-infused formula to efficiently convert kinetic energy into heat, optimizing braking performance on both wet and dry surfaces for shorter stopping distances.
While modern SUV drivers mostly navigate city roads, they may occasionally venture off-road. To accommodate this, the UltraContact UX7 features Robust360 construction with a reinforced steel belt that absorbs road shocks, maintaining tyre shape and directional stability. A stronger carcass design minimizes the risk of damage, while the Diamond Compound’s interlocked polymer chains enhance wear resistance, reducing cuts and chips.
Additionally, the tyre’s precision-cut tread design and Noisebreaker 3.0 technology work together to disrupt sound waves, preventing noise buildup and ensuring a quieter ride inside the vehicle.
The UltraContact UX7 is available for purchase from Q2 of 2025 and in a range of sizes from 15 to 22 inches to fit crossovers, mid-sized SUVs, and premium SUVs. It is available at Continental-branded outlets and the official Continental store on Shopee, TnG, or Lazada.
