The locally-assembled BMW 218i Gran Coupé now receives a technical update in the form of the new BMW Live Cockpit Professional infotainment system, after the system’s successful launch here in October last year.
What has changed from the previous interior of the 2-Series Gran Coupé is that the updated model will replace the 5.1-inch instrument display cluster with a 10.25-inch display. Besides that, the center screen will also receive a size increase from an 8.8-inch to a 10.25-inch. Both displays will have BMW’s latest updated UI to display a timely overview of relevant information. The new system also allows for easier individualization, with a wider breadth of configuration options to personalize and enhance the driving experience.
In addition to that, the UI also has reduced color and graphical clutter that gives a more consistent feel and perceptual experience on the road. To add the icing on the cake, BMW also added a voice-activated BMW Intelligent Personal Assistance that be activated just by saying “Hey BMW!” or any other personalized key phrases.
Pricing for the BMW 218i Gran Coupé will start from RM204,177 without both insurance and BMW’s Extended Warranty and Service Package. BMW also offers a dynamic financing plan with monthly installments starting from RM2,268.
