Remember the ASUS ZenFone Max Plus (M1)? Well, it seems that the company is really into this kind of naming strategy as the ASUS ZenFone Max Pro (M1) has just been officially announced.

Unlike the ZenFone Max Plus (M1), the secondary rear camera for the Max Pro (M1) is now a wide-angle camera, but a depth sensor for creating a DSLR-like bokeh effect. The company also claims that its 5,000mAh battery comes with up to 2 days of battery life. Last but not least, the phone is the first ASUS smartphone to run on pure Android experience.
The device currently has been launched in India and Indonesia. So, what about Malaysia? According to ASUS Malaysia, you can expect to see this phone on mid-May, but after the elections (GE14).
