ASUS Unveils 2022 Zenbook Laptops in Malaysia

ASUS Malaysia today has officially launched four new Zenbook laptops. These laptops are all updated with the latest Intel 12th Alder Lake processor.

Zenbook 14X OLED Space Edition (UX5401)

Announced at CES 2022, the Space Edition is a special edition laptop built to commemorate the 25th anniversary of the ASUS P6300 laptop’s 600-day space mission and to represent the ASUS “In Search of Incredible” brand spirit.

The laptop features a space-themed design and it has a 3.5-inch OLED companion display mounted externally on the lid that can show customizable messages and animations.

It is powered by up to 12th Generation Intel Core i9 H-Series processors, Intel Iris Xe graphics, 32GB RAM, a PCIe 4.0 x4 SSD, and Intel Wi-Fi 6E. The laptop also features a 14-inch 16:10 2.8K 90Hz OLED HDR PANTONE Validated touchscreen with a 100% DCI-P3 gamut and TÜV Rheinland-certified eye care.

Zenbook Pro 14 Duo OLED (UX8402)

The Zenbook Pro 14 Duo OLED (UX8402) was announced a couple of weeks ago, which is an Intel Evo-certified powerhouse that lets creators turn up their creative powers to the max. The laptop is powered by the 12th Gen Intel Core i7-12700H processor and creator-grade NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3050 Ti Laptop GPU.

It sports a 14-inch 2.8K OLED HDR 16:10 main Dolby Vision touchscreen with a 120Hz refresh rate. The laptop also features the next-gen ScreenPad Plus secondary touchscreen that can be tilted at 12°.

Zenbook Pro 16X OLED (UX7602)

The Zenbook Pro 16X OLED (UX7602) is a no-compromise creator laptop weighing just 2.4kg. It is an NVIDIA Studio validated laptop, powered by up to a 12th Gen Intel Core i7-12700H processor and an NVIDIA GeForce RTXTM 3060 Laptop GPU. It uses two quiet IceBlades fans, to cool the vapor chamber. The hot air is vented efficiently to the exterior via the new AAS Ultra mechanism, with its 14.5 mm lift that also tilts the keyboard by an ergonomic 7°.

The laptop sports a 16:10 16-inch 4K OLED HDR 60Hz 550-nit Dolby Vision touchscreen that’s PANTONE Validated for industry-standard color rendering has a cinema-grade 100% DCI-P3 gamut and is VESA DisplayHDR True Black 500-certified for the deepest blacks.

Other innovative and upgraded features include the all-new White-RGB ASUS Intelligent Lighting System that enables smart interactivity such as visual alerts for power or performance status; the ASUS Dial rotary controller for precise fingertip control of creative apps; and an enlarged touchpad with haptic feedback for click-anywhere convenience.

Zenbook 14 OLED (UX3402)

The Zenbook 14 OLED (UX3402) is a powerful, elegant, and lightweight 14-inch laptop — featuring a long-lasting high-capacity 75Wh battery. Available with the 12th Generation Intel Core i7 P-series processor, it’s the new benchmark for portable perfection, meeting the requirements of the Evo laptop.

The laptop features a 14-inch 16:10 2.8K OLED NanoEdge 90Hz display and a Harman Kardon-certified, Dolby Atmos audio. It also comes with two bold new designs and elegant new color options: Aqua Celadon or Ponder Blue.
