Announced alongside with the ZenFone 5 at MWC 2018, the ASUS ZenFone 5Z is finally making its way to Malaysia! The company has just announced that there will be a live stream happening on 30th July at 3 PM. Additionally, you might also win some amazing prizes when you watch the live stream.
In case you didn’t know, the ZenFone 5Z is actually quite similar to the ZenFone 5 in terms of design and certain specs. The phone, however, has a more powerful Snapdragon 845 processor with up to 8GB RAM and 256GB storage. The rest of the specs are same — 6.2-inch (2,246 x 1,080) Super IPS 19:9 display, 12MP + 8MP dual-camera, 8MP selfie camera, 3,300mAh battery, and ZenUI 5.0 on top of Android Oreo. Even the software features of the phone are the same! For more information, you can find out in our ZenFone 5 review here.
In terms of pricing, it seems that the ZenFone 5Z will be available in two variants: 6GB RAM + 128GB storage and 8GB RAM + 256GB storage. The phone is likely to retail at RM1,899 and RM2,299, respectively, according to early leaks.
These prices are actually quite shocking, making the ZenFone 5Z the most affordable Snapdragon 845 powered device. Anyway, make sure you catch the official launch at ASUS Malaysia Facebook page here!
