ASUS has officially introduced the Zenbook A14 in Malaysia, marking the brand’s newest addition to its Snapdragon X-powered laptop lineup and its current lightest model.
Weighing in at just 889g for the base model and up to 980g, the Zenbook A14 is impressively lightweight. A Snapdragon X processor powers the base variant, while the premium model features an X Elite processor. Both configurations come with 32GB of LPDDR5x-8448 RAM, 1TB PCIe 4.0 storage, two USB4 ports, one USB-A 3.2 Gen2 port, an HDMI 2.1 TMDS port, and a 3.5mm audio jack.
In terms of display, the Snapdragon X model sports a 14-inch FHD+ IPS screen, whereas the X Elite variant boasts an OLED panel with a peak brightness of 600 nits.
There are notable differences between the two models. The base Snapdragon X version includes Wi-Fi 6E, Bluetooth 5.3, a 48Wh battery, and a 65W power adapter. On the other hand, the Snapdragon X Elite model upgrades to Wi-Fi 7, Bluetooth 5.4, a larger 70Wh battery, and a 90W power adapter.
The ASUS Zenbook A14 is priced starting at RM4,999 for the Snapdragon X model, with the X Elite variant retailing at RM5,999. It is available in two color options: Zabriskie Beige and Iceland Gray. As an added incentive, customers purchasing the laptop at select stores between March 7 and March 31 will receive a complimentary ASUS ZenScreen MB166B (valued at RM700), subject to availability.
