ASUS has just officially announced the ZenBook 3, which is the latest ultrabook from the company. The ZenBook 3 is even thinner and lighter than the MacBook at 11.9 mm thick and weighs 910 g.
Even though the ZenBook 3 is thinner and lighter than the MacBook, the ZenBook 3 has more powerful performance with up to an Intel Core i7 processor, 16 GB of 2,133 MHz RAM, up to a 1 TB PCIe Gen 3 x4 SSD, a next-gen USB Type-C port, and powerful quad-speaker audio by Harman Kardon.
The ZenBook 3 has a 12.5-inch Full HD display covered by Gorilla Glass 4 with 72% NTSC color gamut. It features 82% screen-to-body ratio for the maximum display size with the minimum footprint.
The laptop comes with a full-size backlit keyboard with 19.8 mm key pitch and 0.8 mm key travel. You’ll find a glass-covered precision touchpad below the keyboard.
The ASUS ZenBook 3 also comes with a built-in fingerprint reader with Windows Hello support. ASUS states that the device provides up to 9 hours of battery life for all-day computing. Not to forget that the fast-charge technology brings ZenBook 3’s battery up to 60% capacity in just 49 minutes.
