ASUS ROG Zephyrus M and TUF Gaming FX504 Announced

It’s gonna be a busy month since most laptop manufacturers are launching the new Coffe Lake laptops. Introducing the ASUS ROG Zephyrus M and TUF Gaming FX504, the latest gaming laptops by the Taiwanese company.

ASUS ROG Zephyrus M (GM501)

The Zephyrus M (GM501) is a thin and light laptop powered by an 8th Gen Intel Core processor and NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1070 (Max-P) graphics. It also features an IPS-level display with 144Hz refresh rate and ultra-responsive 3ms gray-to-gray (GTG) response time. Like the original Zephyrus, the laptop also features the patented ROG Active Aerodynamic System (AAS) and 12-volt anti-dust fans ensure its high-performance CPU and GPU stay cool during marathon gaming sessions. Additionally, it also features exclusive software that allows users to switch GPU modes according to the task at hand.

ASUS TUF Gaming FX504

If you remember the FX503 gaming laptop, which we reviewed not long ago, the FX504 is basically its successor. From now onwards, any new FX series gaming laptop will be named under the TUF Gaming branding (The Ultimate Force).

The laptop sports up to a 15.6-inch Full HD 60Hz IPS-level display, 8th Gen Intel Core i7-8750HQ processor, and NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1050 Ti graphics. The laptop comes with a pair of copper heat pipes and a dual-fan system to cool the processor and graphics card independently, while the trapezoid-cut lid optimizes airflow to increase thermal efficiency by up to 27% compared to a standard laptop chassis.
