Remember the ROG Phone II? The gaming phone that we reviewed last year. Well, the phone was available in two variants at launch — Elite and Ultimate Editions. Guess what? ASUS Malaysia today has an announcement — the ASUS ROG Phone II Strix Edition is now available!
Retailing at just RM2,499, the ROG Phone II Strix Edition is RM1k cheaper than the Elite Edition. This is because the phone comes with 8GB RAM + 128GB storage, which is lower than the Elite Edition (12GB RAM + 512GB storage). In terms of specs, the rest is basically the same:
- 6.59-inch Full HD+ 120Hz/1ms AMOLED 10-bit HDR display
- Qualcomm Snapdragon 855+ processor
- 48MP Sony IMX586 + 13MP 125° ultra-wide dual-rear camera
- 24MP front camera
- 6,000mAh battery with 30W ROG HyperCharge
- Android 9
Every purchase of the ROG Phone II Strix Edition will get the AeroActive Cooler II and AeroCase (worth RM398) for free, just like the Elite Edition.
