ASUS ProArt Series Launch: Everything You Need to Know

In case you didn’t know, the ASUS ProArt series is not an ordinary series in the PC market. It is mainly to meet the evolving needs of professional workflows in traditional content-creation fields, such as photography and videography, as well as provide new solutions for 3D designers, game developers, and professionals in other creative disciplines.

Just recently, ASUS Malaysia had a virtual launch of the ProArt series products — StudioBook One, StudioBook Pro X, StudioBook Pro 17, PA32UCX-P display, and PA27AC display. Here is everything you need to know about the latest products.

ProArt StudioBook One (W590G6T)

ASUS ProArt StudioBook One

The StudioBook One is the world’s most graphically powerful laptop you can get right now. It sports a 15.6-inch Ultra HD PANTONE Validated display with a 120Hz refresh rate and edge-to-edge glass that sits flush with the bezels. Powering the laptop is the Intel Core i9-9980HK processor with 64GB RAM and 1TB PCIe G3x4 SSD. In terms of GPU, it packs an NVIDIA Quadro RTX 6000 GPU with 24GB VRAM. This gives it a level of performance that’s perfect for those working in virtual production, real-time 8K video editing, data analytics, CAD design and simulation, and other data-intensive workloads. The Quadro RTX GPU provides more CUDA, RT, and Tensor cores to enable real-time viewing of environmental shading and light effects, with ultra-smooth and ultrafast rendering of animations, effortless video editing, and efficient data crunching.

The StudioBook One has a powerful cooling system featuring a lightweight, aerospace-grade titanium-alloy thermal module designed to optimize inlet and exhaust flow. All heat-generating components, including the CPU, GPU, and thermal systems are located in the lid to ensure comfortable use, even when placed on the user’s lap. When the laptop is opened, the outer cover of the lid opens automatically by 4.57° to aid cooling.

ProArt StudioBook Pro X (W730G5T)

The StudioBook Pro X is the first NVIDIA Quadro-powered laptop to feature ASUS ScreenPad 2.0 and the four-sided ASUS NanoEdge display. It sports a 17-inch WUXGA 16:10 display with a 92% screen-to-body ratio. It also supports an exceptionally wide color gamut with 97% DCI-P3 color space coverage and delivers high color accuracy.

The laptop is powered by an Intel Xeon E-2276M processor with 16GB RAM and 1TB PCIe G3x4 SSD. In terms of GPU, it packs an NVIDIA Quadro RTX 5000 GPU with 16GB VRAM, optimized for stability and performance with professional software apps. Additionally, the StudioBook Pro X is designed to operate at full load without the need to throttle the speed of the CPU or GPU, making it outstandingly reliable for even the toughest workloads. ProArt StudioBook Pro 17

ASUS ProArt StudioBook Pro 17

As for the StudioBook Pro 17, it is one of the world’s slimmest laptops to feature NVIDIA Quadro graphics, making it a mighty powerhouse that brings ideas to life. Same as the StudioBook Pro X, it sports a 17-inch WUXGA 16:10 display with 97% DCI-P3 color space coverage.

The laptop is powered by the Intel Core i7-9750H processor with up to 32GB RAM and 512GB PCIe G3x4 SSD. In terms of graphics, it is available in three variants, the highest one is the NVIDIA Quadro RTX 3000 Max-Q GPU with 6GB VRAM. A comprehensive cooling system employs a mix of hardware and software to ensure optimal cooling. Six heat pipes draw heat away from the CPU and GPU, while four heat sinks — each featuring 205 ultrathin copper fins — dissipate heat efficiently. A special anti-dust tunnel keeps the heat sinks free from debris, while fans with specially designed intake shrouds and 83 liquid crystal polymer blades blow warm air out of the chassis.

The ASUS ProArt StudioBook Pro 17 is available in three variants:

The ProArt PA27AC is Worldwide 1st 27-inch HDR400 with Thunderbolt 3 professional monitor. It features WQHD IPS panel with a 4-side frameless design and a wide 100% of sRGB color gamut. Up to 400 nits of brightness and HDR-10 provide lifelike experience. PA27AC features Thunderbolt 3 USB-C ports supports data transfers at up to 40Gbps, DisplayPort, and also supports 45W power delivery. Advanced ProArt calibration technology and factory pre-calibrated to ensures color accuracy (∆E < 2). With Windows- and Mac OS-certified, PA27AC is ideal for graphic designers, photographers, or anyone looking for high color accuracy. The ASUS ProArt Display PA27AC retails at RM2,199.

Meanwhile, ASUS Malaysia will also be bringing in the ProArt Display PA248QV and PA278QV in November.
