ASUS Malaysia is excited to announce the launch of its all-new ASUS Gaming series, a dynamic lineup of gaming laptops crafted to meet the needs of gamers, creators, and students alike. Embracing the motto “Lightweight, Game On,” this series redefines portable gaming with powerful yet sleek devices that bring high-performance gaming and creative tasks within everyone’s reach.
The ASUS Gaming series debuts with two models: the Gaming V16 and Gaming K16. Weighing just 1.8kg and measuring under 1.89cm thick, both laptops strike a balance between performance and portability, ideal for students who need to carry their devices between classes.
The V16 stands out as the more robust option, equipped with an Intel Core 5 210H processor, an NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4050 GPU, 16GB of DDR5 RAM, and a 512GB PCIe 4.0 SSD, ensuring smooth 1080p gaming. Meanwhile, the K16 offers a more compact design with an Intel i5-13420H processor, an RTX 3050 GPU, 16GB of DDR4 RAM, and a 512GB PCIe 4.0 SSD.
Both models feature a 16-inch IPS display with a 16:10 aspect ratio, Full HD+ resolution (1,920 x 1,200), and a 144Hz refresh rate for fluid visuals. The webcams differ slightly, with the V16 sporting a 1080p camera and the K16 equipped with a 720p one.
Thermal performance is also a priority, with each laptop incorporating dual fans and heat pipes for efficient cooling while maintaining low noise levels, even under heavy loads, thanks to a combined 70W TDP for CPU and GPU efficiency.
Durability is another highlight, as both models meet MIL-STD 810H military-grade standards for added resilience. Additionally, ASUS includes Office Home 2024 and a 3-month PC Game Pass subscription, ensuring users can dive straight into productivity and gaming.
The ASUS Gaming V16 is priced at RM3,999, while the K16 comes in at RM3,499. The ASUS Gaming series laptops will be available starting April 25 at online stores and retail outlets across Malaysia.
