ASUS Malaysia today officially launched the new ZenBook and VivoBook laptops, which were first announced at Computex 2017.
ASUS ZenBook 3 Deluxe (UX490)
Measures at 12.9mm thin and weighs 1.1kg, the ZenBook 3 Deluxe sports a 14-inch NanoEdge ultranarrow-bezel display. The company managed to fit everything in a 13-inch-class chassis, specs are shown as below:
- 7th Generation Intel Core i7-7500U processor
- 16GB 2,133MHz LPDDR3 RAM
- Up to 1TB PCIe SSD
- Two USB Type-C Thunderbolt 3-enabled ports
- Quad-speaker Harman Kardon-certified surround-sound audio
- Windows 10 with a fingerprint sensor (Windows Hello)
Retails at RM8,299, the ZenBook 3 Deluxe is now available in Malaysia.
ASUS ZenBook Pro (UX550)
The ASUS ZenBook Pro won the Computex 2017 Best Choice Award. It features a precision-crafted all-aluminum unibody that’s just 18.9mm thin and 1.8 kg light. The specs are shown as below:
- 15.6-inch Full HD NanoEdge display
- 7th Generation Intel Core i7-7700HQ quad-core processor
- NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1050 graphics
- 512GB PCIe x4 SSD
- 16GB DDR4 RAM

Officially retails at RM7,299, the ZenBook Pro will go on sale in the beginning of August 2017. Not to forget that it actually has more ports than the ZenBook 3 Deluxe, which includes the standard USB Type-A ports.
ASUS ZenBook Flip S (UX370)
Being the world’s thinnest convertible laptop at 10.9mm thin and 1.1kg light, the ZenBook Flip S features a 360°-flippable display. Here are the specs:
- 13.3-inch Full HD NanoEdge touch display
- 7th Generation Intel Core i7-7500U processor
- 512GB PCIe SSD
- 8GB DDR4 RAM
- Harman Kardon-certified twin speakers
- Windows 10 with a fingerprint sensor (Windows Hello)
The ZenBook Flip S will go on sale in the beginning of August 2017 at the price of RM6,699. The device also comes with an active stylus too.
ASUS VivoBook Pro 15 (N580)
Besides the ZenBook laptops, ASUS also launched the VivoBook laptops. The VivoBook Pro 15 is the most powerful one in the series. It features:
- 15.6-inch Full HD display
- Up to 7th Generation Intel Core i7-7700HQ quad-core processor
- 2TB HDD + 512GB SSD
- Up to 16GB DDR4 RAM
- NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1050 graphics
- Harman Kardon-certified twin speakers
- Windows 10 with a fingerprint sensor (Windows Hello)
The VivoBook Pro 15 will go on sale in the beginning of August 2017 starts from RM4,799. It also supports optional ASUS Pen as well.
ASUS VivoBook S15 (S510)
Finally, here comes the VivoBook S15. The laptop measures at just 17.9mm thin and 1.5kg light, and it has an Icicle Gold finish as well. Below are the specs:

- Up to 7th Generation Intel Core i7-7500U processor
- Up to 1TB HDD + 128GB SSD
- 4GB DDR4 RAM
- NVIDIA GeForce 940MX graphics

The VivoBook S15 will go on sale in the beginning of July 2017 at the prices of RM2,899 (i5) and RM3,699 (i7).
