The new Apple Watch Series 7 is now official! Nope, it didn’t go flat as rumors suggested, but it has gotten more rounded.
The new Apple Watch Series 7 now comes with a bigger display in the same overall body as the company managed to reduce the bezels down to 1.7mm. Available in 41mm and 45mm, the Always-On Retina display is up to 70% brighter indoors than the Series 6.
The Series 7 is also the most durable Apple Watch ever, it is now IP6X dust-resistant together with a water resistance rating of WR50. It also features a redesigned front crystal with a stronger and more robust geometry that is over 50 percent thicker than the Series 6, making it more crack-resistant without compromising optical clarity.
The Series 7 runs on watchOS 8 out of the box, taking advantage of the bigger display with newly redesigned UI elements. You can now use the QWERTY keyboard to reply to texts straight on the watch. Apple QuickPath will use machine learning to predict what you’re trying to type.
Apple claims that the Series 7 to have all-day 18-hour battery life on a single charge, and is 33% faster charging compared with the Series 6, through a new charging architecture and Magnetic Fast Charger USB-C Cable.
The watch will be available in five brand new aluminum case colors, including Midnight, Starlight, Green, Blue, and (PRODUCT)RED. There will also be three stainless steel models and titanium, as well as the Hermès edition.
