Apple Releases New Magic Accessories and Mac Pro GPU Modules in Malaysia

We first saw the new Magic accessories when Apple announced the new iMac with M1 chip. Well, these new Magic accessories are now available for standalone purchase, including Magic Keyboard, Magic Keyboard with Touch ID, Magic Keyboard with Touch ID and Numeric Keypad, Magic Trackpad, and Magic Mouse.

Additionally, Apple has also introduced three new Mac Pro GPU modules — the Radeon Pro W6800X MPX Module, Radeon Pro W6800X Duo MPX Module, and the Radeon Pro W6900X MPX Module.

The Magic Keyboard is now available in three models — Magic Keyboard, Magic Keyboard with Touch ID, and Magic Keyboard with Touch ID and Numeric Keypad. Touch ID now offers fast, easy, and secure authentication for logins and purchases. However, duly note that Touch ID will only work when the keyboard is paired with an M1 Mac. All three models of Magic Keyboard now also come with new keys for Spotlight, Dictation, Do Not Disturb, and emoji.

The Magic Trackpad now has a refined shape (even the color) that perfectly matches the new Magic Keyboard. It features a full range of Multi-Touch gestures and Force Touch technology. The Magic Mouse has the same traditional design but now comes with a new Multi-Touch surface that allows you to perform simple gestures.

All of the new Magic accessories now include a USB-C to Lightning Cable, for quick pairing and charging by connecting to a USB-C port on your Mac. The prices are as below:

Next up are the Mac Pro GPU modules — the Radeon Pro W6800X MPX Module, Radeon Pro W6800X Duo MPX Module, and the Radeon Pro W6900X MPX Module. These GPUs feature Infinity Fabric Link, now allowing up to 4 GPUs (two Duo modules) to connect at 84GB/s per link in each direction (168GB/s bi-directional bandwidth).

The Radeon Pro W6000-series MPX Modules each feature 4 additional Thunderbolt 3 ports and an HDMI 2 port, so as users add more graphics, they also get more connectivity with up to 12 Thunderbolt 3 ports. These new GPUs replace the AMD Vega II MPX Modules available with Mac Pro today and will be offered both as configure-to-order options for new Mac Pro orders as well as kits for existing customers looking to add more GPU performance to their Mac Pro. At the same time, the AMD Radeon Pro Vega II MPX Module and AMD Radeon Pro Vega II Duo MPX Module will no longer be available as a configurable option but will remain available as a standalone kit to existing customers.
