Acer Swift 3 OLED and Acer Aspire 7 Now Available in Malaysia

Acer Malaysia recently announced the Acer Swift 3 OLED and Acer Aspire 7 fitted with a GTX 1650. Both devices have arrived on Malaysian shores and are packed with better technology and performance.

Acer Swift 3 OLED

OLED Display panels are now available on Acer’s entry-level thin and light laptops with the introduction of the Acer Swift 3 OLED. This laptop has all the needed performance in a 17.9mm thick chassis, weighing just around 1.4kg. The Swift 3 features the latest 12th Gen Intel Core i7-12700H processor with 16GB of onboard LPDDR5 RAM and a 1TB PCIe NVMe SSD.

Besides having the latest hardware, it has a 92% screen-to-body ratio, exuding the impression of thinness and lightness. Under that bezel-less impression hides a 14-inch 16:10 WQXGA+ (2.8K) OLED display which also has the VESA DisplayHDR True Black 500 certification and supports 100% of the DCI-P3 color gamut for color precision.

As for connectivity and ease of use, the Acer Swift 3 OLED is fitted with Wi-Fi 6E for insane connection speeds. It also has a Full HD webcam with Acer’s Temporal Noise Reduction for better video quality, even in low-light conditions. There is even AI Noise Reduction with Acer’s PurifiedVoice. With the given package, the Swift 3 is designed with video conferencing in mind.

The Acer Swift 3 OLED is now available on Acer’s website and official stores on both Shopee and Lazada, pricing from RM4,399.

Acer Aspire 7

The Acer Aspire 7 aims to fit the needs of both professionals and enthusiasts. It is powered by a 12th Gen Intel Core i5-1240P, paired with an NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1650 GPU. The Aspire 7 also comes with 8GB of DDR4 RAM, which is also easily upgradable up to 32GB with an extra RAM slot. Besides that, It is also fitted with 512GB of storage and a dual-band Wi-Fi 6 card. Besides that, the Aspire 7 also features USB-C for fast data transfer of up to 5Gbps.

As for the display, the Aspire has a high 144Hz refresh rate Full HD 15.6-inch display with a narrow bezel, resulting in an 81% screen-to-body ratio. There is also built-in software like Acer Color Intelligence and Acer ExaColor that work in tandem to deliver highly accurate visuals. Both software dynamically adjusts gamma and saturation in real-time, optimizing screen color, brightness, and saturation.

The Aspire 7 is also built and designed to look ‘clean and sleek, with its understated and subtle styling. This makes it great for taking it out and around for work as the laptop does not look obnoxious.

The Acer Aspire 7 will be priced at RM3,899 and is now available at Acer’s website and official stores on both Shopee and Lazada.
